This is a guide on how to register and activate your Gemstone and Gemstone Bike tracker.

If you have already created an account and downloaded the app, jump down to "Register your tracker".
Creating a new user account
To get started, please open Google Play Store or Apple App store on your smartphone and download our app (called CPH Trackers) or visit app.cphtrackers.com
Open the app and grant permissions to know your smartphone's location and permission to use the device camera. You can opt out of both permissions, but they help create a better user experience.
Create a user account with an email address and password. You will automatically be logged in and go to the home page of the app afterwards.
Please note that you need to verify your account as well. Please open your email inbox and find a verification email from us and click on the link to verify your account. If you can't find the email, please wait 5 minutes and check again. If you have any problems, please write to our support team.
Now you are ready to register your Gemstone to your account.
Register your tracker
- Once the app is open, add a tracker by tapping the (+) icon in the bottom menu:
- Then scan the QR code on the back of the tracker or enter the 20-digit ID/IMEI number.
- The next step is the actual activation of your tracker
Please note that your tracker will initially have a randomly generated name. You can easily change this name later in the tracker settings.
Activate your tracker
It's quite simple: To activate your Gemstone tracker, shake the tracker for 10 seconds. Wait up to 5 minutes for the tracker to fully activate and send you its coordinates. Unlike activating our Cobblestone tracker, you don't need to go outside. You can do this in your living room, kitchen or anywhere inside.
You will receive a push notification on your smartphone and an email when the installation is complete. You can adjust the notification settings later in the app.
The tracker's status will change from "Activating" to "Activated" once it is activated. The status will change to "Activated and Live" when the tracker tracks for the first time. You can view this status in the settings menu under "Device Info."
If the tracker does not activate within 5 minutes, please try repeating the process once more. If you experience any issues or have further questions, feel free to contact our support team.
