Updating Your Gemstone Tracker
Unlike our Cobblestone Trackers, our Gemstone Trackers can be updated regularly. This means you may be prompted to update your tracker or have the option to do it manually. The firmware controls how our trackers function and it's important to keep it updated.
Why Update?
Although having the latest firmware is not always a requirement, we strongly recommend it to ensure your tracker operates optimally.
How to Update
To update your Gemstone Tracker, follow these steps:

- Follow the step-by-step instructions in the video.
This ensures your tracker is updated correctly and remains fully functional.

Summary of Steps:
- Open the tracker with the provided tool.
- Gently remove the battery by lifting it upward.
- Wait for 30 minutes.
- Open our app "CPH Trackers," select the relevant tracker, go to settings, tap on device information, and then tap on update firmware.
- Reattach the battery to the electronics.
- Wait for the firmware update to complete.
- Reassemble the Gemstone™ in the following order: top housing, electronics + battery pack, back cover.
