Where is my tracker right now?
Cobblestone only connects to the network to send position updates and download new instructions, according to the time intervals and movement patterns defined in the active tracking profile. At all other times it is in power saving mode. The advantage of the power saving mode is that Cobblestone keeps tracking for years without needing constant recharging.
This means that it can take a while before your tracker changes profile, depending on the active profile. If the active tracking profile is "Daily", it will send and receive with a 24 hour interval. It is possible to force the tracker to wake by shaking it hard (a single time) if it is set to "Weekly".
Where do I mount or place the tracker?
GPS is designed for outdoor use and the GPS radio signals can be blocked or confused by metal and concrete. So the general advice is:
- No metal within 30 cm. around the tracker - but it is fine to mount it on top of metal objects
- No concrete walls around the tracker
- Clear of high rises and large objects
Cobblestone works indoors most of the time, but rarely in basements or inside metal machinery or engines. Very thin metal completely blocks GPS radio signals, but thick barriers of any kind can weaken radiosignals.
Why is my tracker not where i know it to be?
Another reason can be that the tracker is not sending its current position at all times, only according to schedule. Please check the timestamp in the popup above your tracker to see when it send coordinates last time around.
I just installed my new tracker, but it is not on the map in the app?
Please make sure to shake the tracker quickly for 10 seconds, preferably outdoors in the open. Leave the tracker to work for 5 minutes and you will see it in on the map in the app.
If the tracker does not activate, please wait for 7 days for the auto-start to work. When a tracker is registered, it will automatically start within 7 days.
How do I change or recharge the batteries?

What to do if my property is stolen?
Please change profile to Emergency and contact the police if you are sure it has been stolen.
Can I share my tracker with others?
Yes, but you will need to give them your account details - the email and password you created an account with. Then they can login on any device using our apps.
It is not possible to add multiple e-mail adresses to an account or tracker, but you have as many trackers as you need on the same account.
How do I transfer my tracker to a new owner?
Write to us from the e-mail address the tracker is registered to and tell us the name or IMEI number of the tracker and the e-mail address of the new owner. Please ask the new owner to create an account with us at app.cphtrackers.com to facilitate the transfer.
